Benefits of Full-Time Employment at BIPS

At Brooklyn Integrative Psychological Services, PLLC, we’re proud to offer a supportive and flexible environment that values professional growth, balance, and meaningful work. Below is a summary of the benefits and opportunities available to our clinicians.

Compensation

Pay per Session: LMSW: $45–60 based on licensure hours; LCSW/LMHC start at $65.

LCSW Pay Premium: Yes – typically $20–70 more per session (ranging from $80–120 for top performers + duration at practice).

Group Therapy Rate: Facilitators earn 80% of group revenue

Couples Rate: Separate structure for seasoned therapists.

Compensation Model: Fee-for-service (W2) only for therapists.

Salary Option: Not offered for therapists. 

Annual Raises: Performance and tenure-based, reviewed at milestones, not annual.

Onboarding Pay: None currently.

Paid Admin Work: $25/hr for projects like document editing or content creation.

Bonuses: Historically have occurred; criteria vary by year. Bonuses are not guaranteed.

Workload & Requirements

Session Requirements: 

FT = 21+ sessions weekly

(25+ average maintained by therapist; calculated regularly, to qualify for health insurance)

Part-time may be approved in certain circumstances

2 hours/week average administrative work

Benefits & Health

Health Coverage: 60% UHC premium covered (40% for dependents); includes FSA match ($2,000/year/person), vision, dental, life, STD/PFL, and dependent FSA

Life Insurance: $18/mo; $100,000 policy for each employee

401(k): Available to contribute after 1 year (no match)

Professional Development: $1,500/year reimbursement.

Tech/Internet Stipend: $200/year (lump sum).

Paid Leave Types: PTO or sick leave; health insurance maintained during maternity leave.

Travel Reimbursement: $100/month commuter expense.

Other Benefits:

Billing handled by organization, flexible scheduling, marketing and professional development support, and a pathway to becoming a supervisor at BIPS.

Licensure Fee Coverage: Not covered.

Supervision & Trainin

Supervision: Pre-licensed clinicians receive 1 hr individual + 2 hrs group weekly; included in pay.

Time Off & PTO

Sick Pay: 1 hour per 30 hours worked.

Additional PTO: 48 hrs/year for full-time (≈2 weeks); increases to 72 hrs after 3 years. 1-week rollover allowed. PTO cannot be used for the first 90 days or after resignation notice.

Front-Loaded PTO: Yes, accrual model begins in 2026.

Holidays: No paid holidays.

Benefit Payouts: No payouts after resignation, “use it or lose it.”
