What We Offer

What our Oregon clinicians work with

Our Oregon team — Ashley Arasaki, CSW-A and Claire Weigand, CSW-A — are Oregon-licensed Clinical Social Work Associates who bring an integrative, relational approach to each client. They're curious clinicians who enjoy learning new modalities and thinking creatively about how different frameworks can meet each person where they are.

Neurodivergent-affirming

ADHD and neurodiversity-affirming work with clinicians who understand neurodivergence as difference, not deficit. Sensory-aware, executive-function-informed, and genuinely curious about how your brain works.

Trauma & complex histories

Trauma-informed therapy for clients carrying histories they haven't fully been able to metabolize. Paced, attuned, and grounded in the therapeutic relationship.

Anxiety & depression

Long-term work with the patterns underneath — not just symptom management. For adults whose anxiety or depression has been the weather, not the event.

Eating disorders

Ashley brings specialized training in eating disorders — working with the body, the history, and the relational dynamics that keep disordered patterns in place.

Poly, kink & relational diversity

Claire offers therapy that's affirming of polyamorous, kink, and non-traditional relationship structures — without the burden of explaining the basics.

Couples & life transitions

Couples work, BIPOC-affirming care, and therapy through the in-between seasons — career shifts, grief, identity change, becoming someone new.

How We Work

Modalities chosen for you, not prescribed.

Ashley and Claire are clinicians who love their craft. They've trained in ACT, DBT, and relational/psychodynamic approaches — and they think creatively about which framework fits each client, each moment, each relational knot. The work doesn't follow a template. It follows you.

Insurance & Fees

How payment works in Oregon.

In-network plans

Some BIPS clinicians are in-network with Aetna, BCBS, and select regional Oregon plans. When you contact us, we'll confirm your specific plan before you register — so there are no surprises.

Out-of-network reimbursement

For clients whose plans we're not in-network with, we provide detailed superbills that most PPO plans reimburse at 40–80% of the session fee. We'll walk you through the paperwork. The concierge coordinator can help check your benefits before your first session.

Common Questions

Oregon telehealth FAQ

For most adult and couples work, the research shows telehealth is comparably effective to in-person psychotherapy. What matters more is the fit with your therapist and the depth of the work — both of which translate well over secure video when the relationship is strong.
We use HIPAA-compliant video platforms. You'll receive a secure link before each session. No downloads, no accounts — just click and join from your laptop or phone.
Yes. Licensing regulations require that you be physically located in Oregon at the time of each session. If you travel out of state regularly, we can discuss how that might affect continuity of care.
Our practice is in Brooklyn, NY. If you relocate or visit the East Coast, some clinicians can accommodate occasional in-person sessions. Day-to-day, Oregon clients work with us via telehealth.
Reach out through the contact form. Our intake coordinator will connect with you, confirm your plan and fit, and match you with an Oregon-licensed clinician whose approach and availability work for what you're looking for.
