The short version. Brooklyn Integrative Psychological Services provides telehealth psychotherapy to adults and couples located anywhere in Massachusetts, including Boston, Cambridge, Somerville, Worcester, Springfield and the Berkshires. The Massachusetts team is Hayley Goodrich, LICSW and Rachel Cole Glod, LCSW, both of whom also supervise clinicians at the practice. The work is integrative, relational and depth-oriented, with particular focus on anxiety and depression, grief and loss, trauma and PTSD, mood and obsessive-compulsive presentations, ADHD, and couples work. Some clinicians are in network with Aetna, BCBS and select regional plans; superbills are provided for out-of-network plans, which most PPOs reimburse at 40 to 80 percent. Sessions are conducted on HIPAA-compliant video, and clients must be physically located in Massachusetts at the time of each session.
Care that travels with you — across Massachusetts.
Whether you're in a Back Bay walk-up, a house outside Worcester, or somewhere quiet in the Berkshires, your care shouldn't depend on which clinicians happen to have an opening in your zip code.
BIPS clinicians are licensed to practice psychotherapy in Massachusetts. We see adults and couples via secure video — the same integrative, relational, depth-oriented work we offer our Brooklyn clients, available to you wherever you live, work, or travel within the state.

Two senior clinicians, one clinical community.
Both are clinical supervisors at BIPS, which means the people you'd work with here are the ones other therapists bring their hardest cases to.

Integrative and relational at the core, drawing on AEDP, DBT, EMDR and psychodynamic work — chosen for what you're bringing rather than applied from a template.
Anxiety & depression
Long-term work with the patterns underneath, not just symptom management. For adults whose anxiety or depression has been the weather rather than the event.
Grief & loss
For deaths, endings, and the losses that don't get named as losses — a marriage, a career, a version of yourself, a future you'd already planned.
Trauma & PTSD
Trauma-informed therapy for clients carrying histories they haven't fully been able to metabolize. Paced, attuned, and grounded in the therapeutic relationship.
Mood, OCD & BPD
Rachel works with mood disorders, obsessive-compulsive presentations, bipolar and borderline personality — the presentations that need a clinician who has seen a lot of them.
ADHD & life transitions
Executive function, late diagnosis, and the in-between seasons — career shifts, relocation, identity change, becoming someone new.
Couples & relationships
The cycle underneath the argument — communication, distance, intimacy, trust and repair. All relationship structures welcome.
Modalities chosen for you, not prescribed.
Both Massachusetts clinicians are senior enough to hold complexity and curious enough to keep learning. Between them they work with AEDP, DBT, EMDR and relational psychodynamic approaches, and they think about which framework fits each client and each moment. The work doesn't follow a template. It follows you.
Because both also supervise, your case sits inside a thirty-clinician practice rather than in one person's head alone.
How payment works in Massachusetts.
In-network plans. Some BIPS clinicians are in network with Aetna, BCBS, and select regional plans for telehealth in Massachusetts. When you contact us, we'll confirm your specific plan before you register — so there are no surprises.
Out-of-network reimbursement. For clients whose plans we're not in network with, we provide detailed superbills that most PPO plans reimburse at 40–80% of the session fee. We'll walk you through the paperwork, and our coordinator can check your benefits before your first session.
Massachusetts telehealth FAQ
Is online therapy as effective as in person?
For most adult and couples work, the research shows telehealth is comparably effective to in-person psychotherapy. What matters more is the fit with your therapist and the depth of the work — both of which translate well over secure video when the relationship is strong.
What platform do you use?
We use HIPAA-compliant video platforms. You'll receive a secure link before each session. No downloads, no accounts — just click and join from your laptop or phone.
Do I need to be physically in Massachusetts during sessions?
Yes. Licensing regulations require that you be physically located in Massachusetts at the time of each session. If you travel out of state regularly, we can discuss how that might affect continuity of care.
Can I switch to in-person later?
Our offices are in Greenpoint, Union Square and Midtown West. If you relocate or visit New York, some clinicians can accommodate occasional in-person sessions. Day-to-day, Massachusetts clients work with us via telehealth.
Who would I be working with?
