About Kristina
I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and one of the Clinical Supervisors at BIPS. My own practice is psychoanalytic and psychodynamic: I am interested in what sits underneath a symptom, and in the patterns people carry into every room they walk into, including this one.
I hold a PsyD from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology and completed an APPIC pre-doctoral internship followed by two postdoctoral fellowships, one of them at the Karen Horney Clinic. I have Level 1 EMDR training and training in biofeedback.
Alongside my work at BIPS, I am a Supervising Psychologist at the CUNY Graduate Center Wellness Center and a supervisor at the Karen Horney Clinic and Anchor Counseling.
How I supervise
Supervision is the part of this work I care most about. Early-career clinicians are asked to sit with a great deal, often before anyone has properly taught them how.
What happens in supervision is what makes it possible for a practice like this one to offer serious depth-oriented therapy at fees people can actually meet.

BIPS invests in its clinicians so clients get better care. If you are an early-career therapist looking for real supervision, we would like to hear from you.
