Healing begins when we have the courage to turn toward ourselves with compassion and honest curiosity.
How I work
As the late Zen master Thich Nhat Hanh wrote, "The way out is in." I believe that healing begins when we have the courage to turn toward ourselves with compassion and honest curiosity.
I love hearing people's stories and walking alongside them as they discover who they are, who they want to become, and what may be standing in the way. Many of us carry beliefs about ourselves and the world that once helped us survive. Over time, though, those same narratives can begin to keep us stuck. Together, we'll gently explore the parts of you that have been working so hard to protect you, discover what they need, and, when they're ready, help them lay down burdens they no longer have to carry alone.
Maybe you've spent years reflecting and already know the habits, thought patterns, or relationships that no longer serve you, but you're unsure what comes next. Maybe you feel stuck. Or maybe, from the outside, everything seems "just fine," yet you find yourself wondering what it would feel like to live with a deeper sense of aliveness. Therapy doesn't have to be reserved for moments of crisis. It can also be a place to reconnect with yourself and move toward a life that feels more aligned with who you truly are.
I especially enjoy working with people who are drawn to exploring meaning, spirituality, mindfulness, or life's deeper questions, though you don't need to identify as spiritual to work with me. Whether you're navigating anxiety, childhood experiences that continue to shape you, questions of identity, moral dilemmas, or a longing to live more consciously, I'm here to walk with you through it all.
