Sydney Morris, LMSW

I specialize in relationships, whether they are romantic, platonic, familial, professional. I also help clients develop better relationships with themselves. I work with clients to establish boundaries, determine priorities, develop greater self compassion, and align their actions with their values. I bring a trauma informed, strengths-based, and client-centered approach to my work with clients. I believe in your ability to grow, change, and heal even in incredibly difficult circumstances. I create a supportive and validating environment, while also challenging my clients to consider different perspectives.

Some sessions may feel free flowing and philosophical–for example, exploring the ethics of non-monogamy, the impact of diagnosis on identity, or the current political climate. Other sessions, especially EMDR driven sessions, may feel more goal oriented and structured. I often suggest readings to clients, which we process and unpack in session together.

I offer concrete coping skills to manage life's challenges and help clients create sustainable changes. Beginning therapy can be intimidating, so be proud of yourself for considering it. Feel free to reach out and schedule a free 15 consultation call if you feel ready to begin this process together.
