Lauren Bailey, LMSW
Sessions with me are rooted in authenticity, respect, and real connection—with space for vulnerability, humor, and whatever else you bring into the room. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, seen, and fully yourself. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or navigating a life transition, I offer a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences at your own pace.
My approach is collaborative, attuned, and supportive. I meet you exactly where you are at, and together we move toward where you want to be. Much of our work will involve exploring the roots of your current patterns by diving into your past, understanding how your early experiences, relationships, and environment have shaped who you are today. At the same time, we’ll identify and build on your existing strengths, helping you feel more empowered, self-aware, and equipped to create the future you want.
I am licensed in both New York and New Jersey, working with young adults and teenagers navigating a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, relational struggles, self-esteem issues, depression, life transitions, complex family dynamics, grief, and trauma. I recognize that healing doesn't happen in a vacuum, and I honor the cultural, systemic, and interpersonal factors that shape your lived experience. I draw on a variety of evidence-based modalities such as psychodynamic therapy, CBT, ACT, and mindfulness practices.
It’s okay if you don’t know where to start. Reaching out is the first step—and a powerful one. If you’re ready to begin and think we would be a good fit, or just curious about the process in general, please reach out via phone or email!
